Honey’s homer lifts Old Town

OLD TOWN – Tyler Honey belted a three-run homer and Dana Leland collected two doubles and two singles as Old Town posted a 10-5 win over Hampden in a District 3 Little League All-Star game for 11- and 12-year-olds on Tuesday.

Evan Paradis, Chase Huckestin and winning pitcher Adam Fournier had doubles for the winners and Colin Zeigenbein hit a two-run single.

Fournier pitched a complete-game six-hitter.

Josh Tardiff tripled for Hampden.

Bangor West 4, Bangor East 0

At Bangor West, Ian Edwards fired a one-hitter, striking out 10 and walking just one, and he aided his own cause with a two-run homer and RBI double.

Shane Walton had a triple and Christian Larochelle delivered an RBI single.

Chad Kelley’s single was Bangor East’s only hit.

Bucksport 6, Sunrise 0

At Bucksport, Eddie Robbins hurled a three-hitter, striking out 10, and he also hit a pair of triples and a single and had an RBI.

Lucas Marks knocked in two runs with a double and two singles and Brandon Blair contributed a two-run double.

Colby Tucker doubled for Sunrise of Milbridge.

At Bucksport, John Harvey and Pete Wentworth each cracked two singles to help lead Bucksport to victory. Robbie Pushard contributed a double.

Josh Gott nailed a three-run home run for Coastal while Harrison Hines added a triple.

At Bangor’s Mansfield Stadium, Holbrook used Hunter Umphrey’s RBI single, two other hits and three errors to produce four runs in the bottom of the seventh for the come-from-behind win.

Mitchell Peasley scored the game-winning run on a wild pitch.

Chris Smith had a double and a single and Peasley had a triple and two RBIs for the winners.

Steve Andrews had two singles for Lincoln while Jacob Smith and Luke Emery had a single and two RBIs each.

Bangor 15, Old Town 4

At Bangor’s Mansfield Stadium, Jacob Silver had three singles and three RBIs and Kyle Leeman also drove in three runs with a double and a single as Bangor upended Old Town.

Tyson Barron had two singles and an RBI and Jim Cox scattered four hits over five innings for the win. He struck out six.

Nathan Lonko had two singles for Old Town.
