Bangor police arrested two men this week, charging them with one motor vehicle break-in but suspecting them of being involved in more burglaries.

Authorities charged Jason Cameron, 19, and Michael Deshane, 18, both of Bangor with burglary to a motor vehicle early Thursday morning after their arrest in the area of Palm Street. Police were called to the east side neighborhood about 4 a.m. for a report of suspicious noises and people in the area, said Detective Sgt. Mark Hathaway.

Police recovered more items than those that connected Cameron and Deshane to that car burglary, indicating other motor vehicles had been broken into, Hathaway said.

Residents who live in this neighborhood and think their vehicles may have been burglarized can contact Detective Brent Beaulieu in the Bangor Police Department’s Criminal Investigation Department at 947-7384.
