Skowhegan’s Andrea Devoe Thebarge, who was the Region 2 (Massachusetts) coaching director for the United States Field Hockey Association’s Futures Program, has been named a field hockey assistant at the University of Maine.

Thebarge, who was also the head coach at the Buckingham Browne and Nichols School (Mass.) the past two years, was a captain and four-year letter-winner at Northeastern University, where played on two NCAA Final Four teams.

Thebarge is married to former Black Bear punter Jerrod Thebarge. She replaces Diane Madl.
