YMCA to hold swim on Echo Lake

MOUNT DESERT ISLAND – The Down East Family YMCA will hold the eighth annual Echo Lake swim at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Beech Cliff Campground.

This is a 500-yard (1.5-mile) swim. There will be a barbecue, T-shirt, and award for every recipient.
