Unity Raceway

At Unity Raceway, Pat Thibodeau of Winterport held off a challenge from Freedom’s Randy Turner to pick up a win in the 50-lap Kick Butts Racing pro stock feature event Friday.

Turner took the lead on lap 42, but Thibodeau fought back to retake the top spot and move on to win his first race of the season. Turner finished second. Steve Nelson of Albion was third, Doc Suske of China Lake finished fourth, and Orrington’s Kris Huff was fifth.

At Scarborough, Pee Wee Knight of Standish beat out Gorham’s Dan McKeage for the win in the NASCAR Pro Series.

Buxton’s David Pinkham finished in third place. Lyman’s Alan Tardif was fourth, and David Oliver of Scarborough finished fifth.

Winterport Dragway

At Winterport Dragway, Marc Davenport of Bucksport won the Super Pro-Pro Final race and went on to victory in the Super Pro Eliminator.

Wellington’s Brian Curtis was second to Davenport in the Super Pro-Pro while Barney Ryan of Harmony was runner-up in the Super Pro. Mike DiCenzo of Calais and Mac Beckwith of Bangor were third and fourth, respectively in Super Pro.
