PRESQUE ISLE – In response to recent concerns about hormone replacement therapy, or HRT, The Aroostook Medical Center Women’s Health Center and HORIZONS Health Services will offer a free community lecture between 6:30 and 8 p.m. Tuesday, July 23. The lecture will be held at Gould Memorial Hospital, 140 Academy St., in the McCain Conference Rooms.

The lecture, including questions and answers, will be presented by HORIZONS’ medical providers Dr. Joyce Hebert, an obstetrician-gynecologist, and Lucy Richard, women’s health nurse practitioner and certified nurse midwife.

They will interpret results of HRT studies being cited in the media, explain what these findings mean, and answer questions about courses of treatment.

Reservations are not required. For more information, call TAMC Women’s Health Center at 769-6636.
