RAYMOND – Camp William Hinds, the Boy Scout camp operated by the Pine Tree Council, will hold a 75th anniversary celebration and open house 1-7 p.m. Saturday, July 27, at the campgrounds on the Plains Road.
Activities will include the opening of the Scout Museum, a concert by Schooner Fare, open program areas such as the rifle and archery ranges, nature hiking and a closing campfire by Hinds alumni.
A lobster and chicken barbecue will start at 4 p.m. Tickets for the barbecue must be purchased by July 20.
The event is free and open to the public, Scouts, families and camp alumni are invited to attend. For information, or to reserve tickets to the barbecue, call the Pine Tree Council, BSA at 797-5252.
