Bangor Raceway concludes its meet this weekend with races tonight, tomorrow night and Sunday afternoon.
Maine Standardbred Breeders Stakes Races will be held each night with fillies racing in one of tonight’s 10 race card. Two-year-old colts will be featured in tomorrow night’s stakes race and three-year-old colts will compete in Sunday afternoon’s race.
Also on Sunday a full field of eight horses will race in the $4,000 Paul Bunyan Invitational. Early favorites are Branchbrook Mystic driven by Kevin Switzer, Ca-Mac-D owned and driven by Archie MacNeil and Canadian entry Woodmere Topcat drive by Steve Mahar. All three horses have won in times under two minutes this year.
