AUGUSTA – Righthander Alec Luro pitched a one-hitter, striking out four and walking three, as East Biddeford eliminated Lincoln with an 11-1 victory in the Little League Baseball state tournament for 9- and 10-year-olds.
Luro helped his own cause with a double, single, and two runs batted in.
Joey White also knocked in two runs with a double and a single, and Trevor Fleurant tripled and singled.
Ethan White’s second-inning single was Lincoln’s lone hit.

At Bangor, Kayla Nielsen hit two singles and a triple to send home five runners and help Saco defeat South Portland.
Emma Morrison pounded out four singles and three RBIs for Saco while Jess Boynton contributed with two doubles and a single.
Jamie Harmon led South Portland with two doubles and a single while Megan McKinnon added a triple and a single. Sarah Violette helped out with a single and a double.
Saco moves on to play Hampden in the state championship.

At Portland, Emilie Cloutier nailed three singles for South Lewiston to help give them the edge they needed to defeat Orono-Veazie.
Amber Cloutier and Miceala Roy each added two singles for South Lewiston.
Lauren Dwyer hit a double and two singles to lead Orono-Veazie while Kelsey Cota chipped in with two singles.
