ROCKLAND – City police seized 50 packets of heroin Thursday night in the Rite Aid parking lot when they arrested three people in connection with the sale of heroin.
Rachel Gurley, 25, and Jeramy Luszczki, 20, both of Belfast, were charged with trafficking in heroin, according to Rockland Police Chief Alfred Ockenfels on Friday.
A third person, Charles Dodge, 20, of Rockland was arrested in connection with the incident for a violation of bail conditions. Dodge was out on bail for conspiracy to traffic in heroin, Ockenfels said, and he may incur additional charges.
A 1986 Volvo also was seized by investigating officers Detective Sgt. James Pease and Detective Christopher Young. The investigation is ongoing, Ockenfels said.
