LAUREL, Del. – Lisa Belances hit two singles to help lead a Massachusetts team by the Hampden All-Stars in the ages 11-12 Eastern Regional softball tourney Monday.
Michelle Wells scattered four hits and struck out six for the All-Stars from Hampden, Newburgh and Winterport representing Maine.
Eva Shannon, Ashley Gott, Kate Plauman and Kacey Belcher each contributed with singles for the Maine stars.

Cape Elizabeth 3, Bangor 1
At Scarborough, Allie Hendrick hurled a four-hitter and scored the winning run on a passed ball in the sixth inning as Cape Elizabeth triumphed in the state tourney.
Hendrick struck out five and walked three. Bangor’s Jamie Gomm also pitched a four-hitter. She struck out 11 and walked two.
Hendrick broke a 1-1 tie in the sixth by singling, stealing second and coming around on two passed balls.
A walk, a fielder’s choice and two errors produced an insurance run in the seventh.
Hendrick had two singles for Cape Elizabeth while Gomm had three singles and the lone RBI for Bangor.
Cape Elizabeth’s Libby Bump and Maureen Kendall and Bangor’s Taylor Lauritsen each had a single.
