DOVER-FOXCROFT – To assist veterans, widows and their dependent children file for state and federal benefits, the Department of Defense has announced times that a representative will be available around the area.

The representative will be at the Penquis Community Action Program at 50 North St. from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Aug. 7 and 21.

On Wednesday, Aug. 14, the officer will be at the Milo Town Office from 9 a.m. to noon.

Beginning on Feb. 1, the officer will be at the Corinth Municipal Building from 9 a.m. to noon the third Tuesday of each month and from 9 a.m. to noon Tuesday, Aug. 20.
