HAMPDEN – Lauren Maltz of Hampden has been selected to participate in the upcoming Hershey’s Track and Field Youth Program North American Final.

Maltz qualified in the 200-meter dash in the girls 13-14 age category and will be participating with four other youths from Maine in the final.

The North American Final will be held on Aug. 10 in Hershey, Pa., and is sponsored by Hershey Foods. The meet features 480 young track and field athletes from different parts of North America.
