Small-business project to hold preview session

DOVER-FOXCROFT – The Incubator Without Walls project will hold an informational session at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 7, at Penquis CAP on 50 North St. The next course runs from Aug. 21 to Dec. 18. Classes are held the first and third Wednesdays of each month.

Incubator Without Walls is an initiative to help start and expand businesses with five or fewer employees. Members learn the basics of running a small business. Classes often include guest speakers from the local business community, allowing participants to network with local accountants, Web designers, bankers, insurance agents and other experts.

The course and the business training manual are free. An application is required.
