BANGOR – Shop ‘n Save stores are holding a book drive and sale to support United Way of Eastern Maine’s Annual Campaign. People are encouraged to donate or purchase used books for people of all ages at their local store.

The annual campaign starts in September and stores need people to donate books for the sale.

Last year, United Way raised $2.65 million to support 70 partner agencies in Hancock, Penobscot, Piscataquis, Waldo and Washington counties.

For more information about the book drive, contact local Shop ‘n Save stores or call United Way at 941-2800.
