GREENWOOD – A teen-ager was killed and four others were injured when their car crashed into a utility pole late Friday night.
Maine State Police said Donald Ryerson, 18, of Roxbury was killed in the 10:30 p.m. accident on Gore Road in this Oxford County town near Bethel.
Eric Kramarz, a state police dispatcher, said the accident occurred when driver David Borst, 18, of Woodstock apparently lost control around a curve, struck the pole and landed in a ditch.
Borst and three other teen-agers were injured and taken to area hospitals.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
