HOULTON – A presentation on how business planning will help farms compete successfully in a changing economy will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 24, at the Millar Civic Center.

The presentation, “Planning for Success,” will feature speakers and a light meal. It is made possible by a grant from the Maine Department of Agriculture.

The three-hour event is open to anyone with a farm business or an idea for a business. The cost is $6.

The program is sponsored by the St. John Aroostook Resource Conservation and Development Area Council and the Small Business Development Center at Northern Maine Development Commission.
