Over the past six years V.A. administration first cut the staffing our health care system, assisted our veterans services organizations in enrolling more veterans in the system and now states the system is overwhelmed. There aren’t enough caregivers to provide all our veterans the timely and appropriate health care they’ve earned and deserve.

To this day, Togus and VISN 1 administrators still haven’t developed a plan to correct the numerous long-documented problems and untimely waits for care. Why is our congressional delegation allowing such incompetent administration of our health care system, especially at such a high cost to the well-being of our veterans and their families? Maine veterans deserve to know.
