WASHINGTON – The Maine State Society is looking for the current addresses of two women who represented the state in the National Cherry Blossom Festival in 1956 and 1967.

The society, which has sponsored each of Maine’s Cherry Blossom Princesses since 1948, is seeking the addresses to inform the women of a reunion of princesses during the festival in April in Washington, D.C.

Current addresses are needed for Barbara Lyman, who won the title in 1956, and Linda Nicklass, then of Freedom, who won in 1967.

Those with the correct information may mail the addresses to 3434 Upside Court, Falls Church, Va. 22042-4019 or call (703) 237-1031. The addresses may also be e-mailed to realmainers@aol.com.
