Members of the USA National Junior Racewalk team will compete in the 14th annual USA vs. Canada match at Stanford University in Palo Alto, California.

The American squad is led by Ellsworth High grad and Otis resident Ben Shorey. He was 17th at the World Junior Championships, the first American to qualify for the meet in a decade.

Other Mainers on the team are Readfield’s Jonathon Chasse and Adam Staier of Farmington, Jasmine Brooks of Peru and Anne Favolise of Columbia.
