ROCKLAND – Knox County Meals on Wheels has scheduled a trip to Monhegan Island on Sept. 8.

Don Reimer, a local bird expert, will guide participants on a nature walk on the island. The group will travel to the island on the Elizabeth Ann. A lobster bake at an island inn is also included.

The trip is a fund-raiser for the Meals on Wheels program, and the cost is $100.
