Portland’s Ian Crocker finished second in the 100-meter butterfly at the U.S. Nationals being held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Friday.
Crocker’s time of 52.64 was just off the pace of Michael Phelps of Baltimore’s 53.85.
Earlier in the week, Crocker and his Circle C Swimming teammates placed second in the 100-meter free relay.
