Adam Craig, a cyclist from Dexter, recently won the U.S. Espoir series title in the division for riders under age 23 at a championship race at Mount Snow, Vt.

Craig finished 12th overall in his division for his second title as a U.S. Men’s U-23 Cross-Country National Champion, following a ninth-place finish in Durango, Colo.

Craig has also been named the to the 2002 U.S. World Mountain Bike Championship Team which will travel to Kaprun, Austria, for the MTB World Championship races from Aug. 28 to Sept. 1. He will also be representing the U.S. in the World Cup race in Les Gets, France later next month.
