Mental illness group to focus on children

CARIBOU – Carrie Horne of the National Alliance of the Mentally Ill of Maine will present “Issues in Childhood Mental Illness” from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 12, at the Caribou Recreation Center.

Topics to be covered include childhood mental illness, engaging the difficult to engage the child, the explosive child, and girls, boys and the brain.
