FORT KENT – Richard W. Cost, recently appointed the ninth president of the University of Maine at Fort Kent, will be the featured speaker at the UMFK corporate relations office’s business networking breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Nowland Hall.

Cost, who has more than 30 years experience in higher education administration, assumed his duties at UMFK on Aug. 1.

His presentation will highlight how current trends at the national, state and local levels have affected higher education. He will relate these trends to planning at the university.

Tickets to the buffet-style breakfast are $7 and a limited number are available.
