In response to Ronald Prather’s letter, “Universal health care” (BDN, Sept. 3), his ideas and way of thinking should be the rallying cry of all of us veterans and seniors, and why isn’t he running for office? This way of thinking is what this country needs and is all about – “for the people, by the people.”
As some of the large money companies bite the dust on Wall Street due to inappropriate handling of money, and a well-known celebrity falls under the microscope for said dealings with the Wall Street crowd and drug companies, no time is better than now to enact this world-renowned health care policy and line against the wall the ultra-wealthy who are taking advantage of the senior citizens, veterans and disadvantaged.
