EASTPORT – Samantha Davis’ second goal of the match proved to be the game-winner as the Shead Tigerettes edged the Calais Blue Devils 3-2 in schoolgirl soccer action Tuesday.
Skylar Richardson tallied a goal for 1-1-1 Shead while Roliza DeWitt stopped three of five shots.
Lindsay Taylor had two goals and Danielle Feck made 21 saves on 23 shots for 1-1-1 Calais.
Narraguagus 5, WA Raiders 0
At Harrington, Missy Barbee and Linny Barbee each scored two goals as the Knights rolled.
Sara Kennedy added a goal and an assist for 2-1 Narraguagus. Missy Barbee and Becky Pilloni had one assist apiece and Alicia Tenney made three saves on four shots.
Meghan Rose stopped 17 of 28 shots for 0-3 Washington Academy of East Machias.
Central Aroostook 1, Hodgdon 0
At Mars Hill, Gabrielle Smith made a run into the penalty area and drilled a low shot into the far corner off a Samantha Brewer feed with 20 minutes left in the game to decide it.
Brittany Lundeen made 12 saves on 21 shots for the 8-3 winners while Lindsay Stewart made two stops on 10 shots for 7-3 Hodgdon.
Caribou 3, Madawaska 0
At Madawaska, six different players figured into the scoring to help the Vikings go to 7-1.
Simone Willett, Jenna Vincent and Amelia Cote each scored a goal for Caribou. Marilee Waugh, Lindsay Burlock and Michelle Ouellette each chipped in with an assist. Leah Drew made five saves on seven shots.
Erin Pelletier stopped 26 of 30 shots for the 2-6-1 Owls.

Presque Isle 2, Fort Kent 1
At Presque Isle, the Wildcats jumped out to a two-goal, first-half lead and then held off the Warriors for the win.
Natasha Deschene had a goal and an assist and Katie Delong scored a goal as Presque Isle improved to 5-3. Melissa DeMerchant and Jessica Price combined to make five saves on six shots.
Meaghan Minzy scored the Fort Kent goal and Mindy Morneault stopped 14 of 18 shots for the 4-4 Warriors.
JV: Presque Isle 3-0
Greenville 5, Averill 0
At Greenville, Kristen Sutherland scored two goals as the Lakers rolled past the Beavers.
Crystal Ferris had a goal and an assist and Diana Aucoin and Jillian Boorley each added a goal for Greenville. Betheny Bartley stopped two Averill shots.
Natasha Gagne and Sherrie Tweeny combined to save 39 of 45 shots for Averill of Hinckley.
The game was declared over with just under nine minutes remaining due to injuries to both Averill goalies.
Ellsworth 1, George Stevens 0
At Ellsworth, Cassie Cloak tallied the game-winner with 10:43 left in the second half to lift the Eagles.
Cloak’s winner came off an Ashley Oleson corner kick. Victoria Jones stopped three of four shots for 2-2 Ellsworth.
Liz Tyler made four saves on eight shots for the 2-2 Eagles of Blue Hill.
John Bapst 2, Hermon 1 (2OT)
At Hermon, Ashley Freeman fed the ball across the goalmouth to Erika Getchell and she deposited into the vacant net with just 30 seconds remaining in the second overtime as John Bapst improved to 3-2.
Freeman had scored earlier off a Diana Bush assist.
Valaree Charloux tied it for 0-4 Hermon off an Ericka Joy pass with 11 minutes remaining in regulation.
Julia Sleeper made four saves for John Bapst and Melissa Hills rejected six for Hermon.

Boys soccer
Hodgdon 3, Central Aroostook 1
At Mars Hill, Thomas Duff scored what proved to be the game-winner off a Kevin Carton pass with just 17 seconds left in the first half for the Hawks.
Ben Carton added an insurance goal with nine minutes left as Hodgdon improved to 3-5-2. Matt Hanning made 23 saves on 31 shots.
Hodgdon’s Jeff Condon had opened the scoring off a Ben Carton assist but Bryan Grew’s penalty kick tied it up.
Adam Crew made 11 saves on 18 shots for 3-8-2 Central Aroostook.
Fort Fairfield 2, Limestone 0
At Limestone, Jake Chambers and Chris Osgood scored an unassisted goal each in the Warriors win over the Eagles.
Tyler Bernaiche made six saves on seven shots for 9-1 Fort Fairfield.
Jake Manner stopped nine of 23 shots for 6-3-1 Limestone.
Greenville 10, Averill 0
At Hinckley, freshman Jonah Lizotte scored three goals and assisted on another to spark the Lakers to victory.
Rory Owens and Kevin Bradford each scored two goals, while Chris Waldron and Jordan Belmont contributed one goal and one assist each for 4-1 Greenville. Kevin Lebel scored once to back Gregory Aucoin, who made four saves on four shots.
Mike Laflamme made four saves while facing 25 shots for 0-3-1 Averill.
Foxcroft 3, Dexter 2
At Dover-Foxcroft, Mitch Sawyer scored two goals, including the game-winner with 21 minutes remaining, to lead Foxcroft to victory.
Manuel Blanc added a goal while Ben Page tallied an assist. Kevin Brown and Dan Lubas combined to made nine saves on 11 shots for the 1-3 Ponies.
Ben Lemieux scored both goals for 1-3 Dexter while Brian Hershey stopped 20 out of 26 shots.
Central 2, Piscataquis 2 (2OT)
At Corinth, Chase Burdin’s goal with less than six minutes to go in regulation gave the Pirates a tie with the Red Devils.
Burdin’s goal came just 20 seconds after Joe Allen’s second goal of the game had given Central the lead.
Matt Free also scored for 2-0-3 Piscataquis of Guilford while Josh Luellen made 14 saves on 17 shots.
Scott Chambers stopped 15 of 18 shots for 3-0-1 Central
Hermon 3, John Bapst 3
At Hermon, Jason Shorey scored two goals for the 1-2-2 Hawks in a tie with 0-3-1 John Bapst.
Josiah Curtis scored a goal while Joey Schacht and Brady Hurd each tallied assists and Phil Cayford stopped 10 of 15 shots for Hermon.
Alex Means and Colby Theriault each had a goal and an assist for the Crusaders. Brian Roach contributed with a goal while Rick Hathaway made seven saves on 10 shots.

Camden Hills 3, Mount View 0
At Rockport, three different players scored goals to help 2-1 Camden Hills defeat 0-3 Mount View.
Evan Dyer scored with an assist from Zach Marchetti while Barry Beveridge scored off a pass from Jake Dinces. Alex Moro assisted a goal by Damon Massey while Morgan Kerr and Kyle Bragg combined to make four saves on six shots.
Dan Pellerin faced 19 shots and stopped 16 for the Mustangs of Thorndike.
Belfast 3, Oak Hill 0
At Belfast, Aaron Cross and John Boynton each scored a goal and had an assist to help lead 3-1 Belfast to the win.
Caleb Barnaby scored with an assist from Kevin Matluck while Collin Cunning and Chris Abbott combined to stop five of 12 shots in net.
John Daggett faced 32 shots and stopped 17 for 1-3 Oak Hill of Sabbatus.
Islesboro 3, Searsport 2
At Searsport, Jon Bolduc scored two unassisted goals, including the game-winning goal with 19 seconds remaining, to give 4-0 Islesboro the edge they needed to defeat Searsport.
Gavin Harkins scored the tying goal with 2:08 remaining while Rory Diffin saw 16 shots in net.
Kurt Lockhart scored unassisted for 2-3 Searsport while Matt Mercer scored on pass from Josh McFarlin. Ryan Haft faced 20 shots in goal for the Vikings.
