ROCKPORT – Three different players scored goals to help the Camden Hills Windjammers defeat the Mount View Mustangs 3-0 in schoolboy soccer action Tuesday.
Evan Dyer scored with an assist from Zach Marchetti while Barry Beveridge scored off a pass from Jake Dinces. Alex Moro assisted a goal by Damon Massey while Morgan Kerr and Kyle Bragg combined to make four saves on six shots for 2-1 Mount View.
Dan Pellerin faced 19 shots and stopped 16 for the 0-3 Mustangs of Thorndike.
Central 2, Piscataquis 2 (2OT)
At Corinth, Chase Burdin’s goal with less than six minutes to go in regulation gave the Pirates a tie with the Red Devils.
Burdin’s goal came just 20 seconds after Joe Allen’s second goal of the game had given Central the lead.
Matt Free also scored for 2-0-3 Piscataquis of Guilford while Josh Luellen made 14 saves on 17 shots.
Scott Chambers stopped 15 of 18 shots for 3-0-1 Central.
Penquis 2, Schenck 1
At Milo, Justin Allen scored two goals, the second of which gave Penquis the lead with 2:01 remaining in the game.
Jordan Allen recorded assists on both goals while Kevin nason faced 16 shots and stopped 14 for the 3-1-1 Patriots.
Tyler Thompson scored Schenck’s goal off of a pass from Drew Fayle while Mike Rossignol made 15 saves on 19 shots for the 1-2-1 Wolverines.
Belfast 3, Oak Hill 0
At Belfast, Aaron Cross and John Boynton each scored a goal and had an assist to help lead 3-1 Belfast to the win.
Caleb Barnaby scored with an assist from Kevin Matluck while Collin Cunning and Chris Abbott combined to stop five of 12 shots in net.
John Daggett faced 32 shots and stopped 17 for 1-3 Oak Hill of Sabbatus.
Islesboro 3, Searsport 2
At Searsport, Jon Bolduc scored two unassisted goals, including the game-winning goal with 19 seconds remaining, to give 4-0 Islesboro the edge they needed to defeat Searsport.
Gavin Harkins scored the tying goal with 2:08 remaining while Rory Diffin saw 16 shots in net.
Kurt Lockhart scored unassisted for 2-3 Searsport while Matt Mercer scored on pass from Josh McFarlin. Ryan Haft faced 20 shots in goal for the Vikings.
Bangor Christian 3, DI-S 1
At Bangor, Greg Patterson sailed a 23-yard free kick into the upper far corner 24:08 into the second half and that proved to be the deciding goal as Bangor Christian improved to 3-0-1. Deer Isle-Stonington is 1-3.
Ben Sobey had scored 11:31 earlier to break the scoreless deadlock off a pass from his brother, Eric.
Evan Haskell scored with eight minutes left for Deer Isle-Stonington.
D.J. McCleary made three saves on nine shots for the Patriots while Chris Gray stopped nine of 21 shots for the Mariners.
Hermon 3, John Bapst 3
At Hermon, Jason Shorey scored two goals for the 1-2-2 Hawks in a tie with 0-3-1 John Bapst.
Josiah Curtis scored a goal while Joey Schacht and Brady Hurd each tallied assists and Phil Cayford stopped 10 of 15 shots for Hermon.
Alex Means and Colby Theriault each had a goal and an assist for the Crusaders. Brian Roach contributed with a goal while Rick Hathaway made seven saves on 10 shots.

Brewer 3, Hampden 2
At Hampden, Jon Bell scored two goals, including the game-winner, as the Witches edged the Broncos.
Bell’s goal came 3:17 into the second half with an assist from Caleb McGary. Bell and Joey Caron each put an unassisted goal in the final 5:16 of the first half. Matt Quimby made six saves on eight shots for 3-1 Brewer.
Jake Reynolds had a goal and an assist for 1-3 Hampden. Bud Bridges added a goal and Joe Madigan had an assist. Ryan Hannan and Ken Mayo combined for five saves on 10 shots.
MDI 3, Old Town 1
At Old Town, Alex Galo and Booth Dargis scored 2:06 apart early in the second half to break open a close game and help Mount Desert Island deal Old Town its first loss.
MDI is 2-2 while Old Town fell to 4-1.
Cody Stratton assisted on Galo’s goal. Galo had assisted on Mike Bucklin’s first-half goal. Adam Thurston had 15 saves on 18 shots.
Kevin Emerson ruined Thurston’s shutout bid with five and a half minutes remaining. Andy Pease assisted on the goal and Tyler Tracewski made six saves on 10 shots.

Field hockey
Foxcroft 6, Bangor 0
At Bangor, Rolinda Mitchell scored two goals to help lead 5-0 Foxcroft to the win while Jess Bourgoin picked up three assists.
Harita Reddy scored off a pass from Bourgoin and had an assist while Eryn Curry added a goal. Emily Austin scored on a penalty stroke and Megan Ryder made six saves on 13 shots.
Bonnie Case faced 21 shots and stopped six for 2-3 Bangor.
MCI 5, Lincoln Academy 1
At Pittsfield, Sierra Hendricks and Hollie Higgins each scored two goals to help carry 3-0-1 Maine Central Institute to the victory.
Mackey Sullivan added a goal while Tara Weeman stopped three of five shots.
Lindsay Staling scored unassisted for 0-3 Lincoln Academy of Newcastle and Catherine Coppersmith stopped 12 of 29 shots.
Camden Hills 2, Oak Hill 1
At Sabbatus, the Windjammers jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the game’s first 19 minutes and then held on for the victory.
Kristin Ford scored off a pass from Linda Nyugen and Leigh Massey scored unassisted for the 1-3 winners. Abby Spooner made four saves on six shots.
Jess Rau scored unassisted for 0-4 Oak Hill with 7:30 left in the first half. Chelsea Kauffman made four saves on nine shots.

John Bapst 2, Hermon 1 (2OT)
At Hermon, Ashley Freeman fed the ball across the goalmouth to Erika Getchell and she deposited into the vacant net with just 30 seconds remaining in the second overtime as John Bapst improved to 3-2.
Freeman had scored earlier off a Diana Bush assist.
Valaree Charloux tied it for 0-4 Hermon off an Ericka Joy pass with 11 minutes remaining in regulation.
Julia Sleeper made four saves for John Bapst and Melissa Hills rejected six for Hermon.

Girls soccer
Greenville 5, Averill 0
At Greenville, Kristen Sutherland scored two goals as the Lakers rolled past the Beavers.
Crystal Ferris had a goal and an assist and Diana Aucoin and Jillian Boorley each added a goal for Greenville. Betheny Bartley stopped two Averill shots.
Natasha Gagne and Sherrie Tweeny combined to save 39 of 45 shots for Averill of Hinckley.
The game was declared over with just under nine minutes remaining due to injuries to both Averill goalies.
Ellsworth 1, George Stevens 0
At Ellsworth, Cassie Cloak tallied the game-winner with 10:43 left in the second half to lift the Eagles.
Cloak’s winner came off an Ashley Oleson corner kick. Victoria Jones stopped three of four shots for 2-2 Ellsworth.
Liz Tyler made four saves on eight shots for the 2-2 Eagles of Blue Hill.
John Bapst 2, Hermon 1 (2OT)
