BANGOR – The Maine Development Foundation will hold its annual meeting combined with a gubernatorial candidates forum from 7:30 to 10 a.m. Monday, Sept. 30, at the Bangor Civic Center. The event is co-hosted by the Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce.

The gubernatorial candidates forum will be moderated by Maine PBS host Don Carrigan and is slated to feature Democratic candidate John Baldacci; Green party candidate Jonathan Carter; Republican candidate Peter Cianchette; and independent candidate John Michael. The forum will seek candidates’ responses to economic issues including tax structure, health care, transportation and postsecondary education attainment.
