EAST SULLIVAN – The Reeds Brook School of Hampden will seek its third straight title at the Parker Pruett Invitational at Sumner High School Sept. 30 at 4:15 p.m.
The invitational, which features 14 middle school cross country teams from the eastern Maine area, is named for Pruett, a former standout runner at Sumner High and Dartmouth College.
The event features competition for boys and girls over a 2.7-mile course with a title for each and an overall title combining both team scores.
Other teams competing in the invitational are Airline of Aurora, Tremont, Gouldsboro, Old Town, Trenton, the Pemetic School of Southwest Harbor, and Emerson Connors of Bar Harbor.
