MACHIAS – A six-week class called “Parent Effectiveness in Resolving Conflict” will begin Thursday, Oct. 10, at Machias Memorial High School, Court Street.

It will run 6-8 p.m. Thursdays. The program is limited to 15 adults and is free.

The class is sponsored by the Hancock County Children’s Council, in cooperation with Machias Adult Education and the Washington County Council to Prevent Child Abuse and Neglect. To register or for information call 255-4917.
