I am a massage therapist specializing in rapid pain and stress relief using energy work on Chinese acupressure points and meridian energy lines. Headaches disappear in 15 to 20 seconds. Clients turn pink in 20 to 30 minutes. Blood flow increases throughout the entire body. Every nerve is stimulated many times over. I’ve released pain and stress from over 4,200 people.
When the twin towers went down, I knew it was time to return home to Houlton. I expected to use my knowledge to help improve Aroostook’s economy by lowering health care costs. I had hoped to re-establish roots disturbed by my friends and neighbors some 39 years ago.
I served my time in Vietnam, finished college and traveled the world. I studied Chinese energy work in Beijing and have worked with clients from every continent except Antarctica.
The Houlton Pioneer Times says that our “Empowerment Zone” is “a three-year program designed to support businesses, educate and train the work force, improve health and balance economic development with the environment.”
I brought my skills back to Maine, only to learn that Maine’s four health care insurance companies are “empowered” to prevent Aroostook County folks from using their health insurance policies with me. I have relieved conditions that have lasted 20 and 30 years, and I charge $20 to $25 per session; relieving pain without drugs. What better way to lower the high cost of health care and prescriptions?
Anthem will be requesting rate increases in Gardiner on Oct. 16. Are these rate increases necessary because they restrict policyholders to only the most expensive health care procedures? Is this what “empowerment” in Aroostook County means? Who’s running the ship?
