PRESQUE ISLE – The Aroostook Right to Read will hold its annual conference from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 26, at the University of Maine at Presque Isle.

The theme this year will be “Parent, Teacher, Child: Partnership in Reading.”

“Our theme this year talks about reading as a partnership, and parents play a pivotal role in their child’s development in this area,” Co-director Margaret Houghton said.

The conference will feature two workshops: Nurturing Your Growing Reader for parents of preschool and primary age children and Where DO I Fit In? for all parents.
