RYAN JEFFREY

Jeffrey, a senior striker on the Bangor soccer team scored a goal and assisted on another as the Rams knocked off previously unbeaten Presque Isle and then scored two goals in Bangor’s win over Nokomis.

Small School (Classes C-D)

DEREK DIFREDERICO

A junior quarterback for the Stearns of Millinocket football team, DiFrederico carried the ball seven times for 137 yards and a touchdown and completed four of seven passes for 70 yards and two touchdowns in the Minutemen’s 37-6 win over Orono.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

VIOLET SOISSON

Soisson, a junior striker for the Mount View soccer team, returned from an ankle injury last week to record seven goals and an assist in three games, including the game-winner in overtime against MCI.

Small School (Classes C-D)

SHELBY PICKERING

A sophomore striker on the Lee Academy soccer team, Pickering racked up nine goals, including her 21st of the season, and an assist in three games. The Pandas were 8-0 through Saturday.
