USPS Boating Courses

United States Power Squadron’s Boating Course, teaches boating safety and skills, taught by the Penobscot Bay Sail and Power Squadron, instruction is free. Manual, plotter and dividers $45. At Bangor: Thursday nights from Oct. 3 to Nov. 13, Bangor High School, register with Bangor Adult Education, 941-6310.

ATV, snowmobile safety

PRESQUE ISLE – An ATV, snowmobile safety course, 6-9 p.m., Nov. 5-7, room 412, Presque Isle High School, instructor is David Snyder, certified ATV/snowmobile safety instructor by the state, students ages 10-14 must be accompanied by an adult, contact Presque Isle Adult Education Office, 764-4776
