BANGOR – Adam Russell rushed for 243 yards and three touchdowns on 17 carries to power the Dexter Tigers to a 40-0 high school football victory over the John Bapst Crusaders Saturday night.
Aaron Vafiades also scored three touchdowns.
Russell and Vafiades each scored on 3-yard runs in the first quarter before Russell expanded the lead to 28-0 at the half with second-period jaunts of 29 and 26 yards.
Vafiades added TD runs of 16 and 3 yards in the third period.
Brad Chase had a hand in 12 tackles for the Tigers. Ben Pomelow was involved in nine, including two sacks. Corey Willey picked off two Crusader passes.

At Winslow, John Lear passed for a touchdown and ran for another as the Lions remained undefeated.
Tim Aldus caught an 18-yard TD pass from Lear in the third quarter and Tim Parenteau rushed for a touchdown in the fourth.
Ricky Vigue scored Winslow’s only touchdown on a four-yard run in the third quarter.
