TRAINER KAPLER

Hampden Academy sophomore running back Trainer Kapler rushed for 156 yards and two touchdowns as the Broncos ran past Old Town 48-6 and picked up their first football win of the year.

Small School (Classes C-D)

MATT MURRAY

Murray, a sophomore at Dexter, fired a 77 to lead Dexter to its second straight Class C golf team state championship last Saturday at Natanis Golf Course in Vassalboro.

GIRLS

Big School (Classes A-B)

ELISSA GORDON

The Bucksport senior center midfielder scored three goals and one assist to set a Bucksport career scoring record in girls soccer with 53 goals. She had 15 goals in 12 games so far this year as the Bucks are now 11-0-2.

Small School (Classes C-D)

CINDY KOSCIELNY

A junior goalie for the Dexter field hockey team, Koscielny posted two shutouts in three games while the Tigers outscored their opponents 12-1. Dexter is now 13-0.
