Republican gubernatorial candidate Peter Cianchette of South Portland picked up endorsements this week from the Maine Forest Legacy Political Action Committee, which represents the Maine Forest Products Council, and the Associated Constructors of Maine.
Michele MacLean, who heads the Forest Legacy PAC, praised Cianchette’s plan to improve Maine’s economy. The Associated Constructors’ Daniel Maloney lauded Cianchette’s plan to curb state spending and reduce the state’s tax burden.
Associated Constructors represents 270 businesses, and the Forest Products Council claims 500 member businesses.
