Farmington native Kevin Eastler led the U.S. racewalking team to a 12th-place finish at the World Cup racewalk held recently in Turin, Italy.
Eastler placed 31st in the field of 111 covering the 20-kilometer circuit in 1 hour, 28 minutes, 18 seconds. The U.S. Team is coached by Dr. Tom Eastler, the racewalker’s father, who is a professor of geology at the University of Maine-Farmington.
