AUGUSTA – Interested parties will gather Oct. 26 at Capitol Park to demonstrate for accessibility and quality of mental health services and speak out against the pending cuts to mental health services in Maine. Participants include NAMI Maine, people with mental illness and their families, law enforcement officials, mental health providers and educators. The meeting will run from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday.
NAMI Maine provides support, education and advocacy on behalf of people with mental illness and their families.
