UNITY – The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association will host the fourth annual Low-Impact Forestry Workshop 7:30 a.m.-7 p.m. Nov. 15-17 at MOFGA’s Common Ground in Unity. The workshop provides the latest in sustainable forestry management.

Professional teamsters will be available to help individuals solve problems with logging techniques, gear and their animals. Participants receive three meals Friday, and Saturday will include breakfast and lunch. Campers and tents are welcome, as are horses and oxen. Call MOFGA at 568-4142 to register.
