Former Lawrence of Fairfield and University of Maine star Cindy Blodgett apparently suffered a hip injury last week during a Ligue Feminin game in France and could be out for her team’s next game, according to a Web site for the team in Bordeaux.

Blodgett, who has averaged 16 points in five games for Bordeaux, suffered a “large” hip contusion in a 76-73 loss to Toulouse in which she scored 18 points and had five rebounds and four assists. The team is scheduled to play Nice Saturday.
