Voting for Bierman

Earl Bierman is the Republican candidate for state representative of District 132. I am a registered Democrat and I support him.

In our Legislature, I prefer to see working people and not many of fabulous wealth or over age 65. The former doesn’t think the way I do or see society’s problems through the common man’s glasses. The latter should have made their mark earlier in life.

Earl has been a teacher in the public schools as well as a fireman at the Winter Harbor navy base. He listens more than he talks. He has common sense anda sense of humor.

These are vital components of balanced judgment. I would expect Earl to vote on the merits of each issue and not to follow party leadership without thought.
