2nd District election

I’m voting for Mike Michaud for Congress in the 2nd District and asking you to do the same.

Mike earned my vote by cosponsoring the Maine Rx law, which will lower prescription drug costs to about 325,000 Mainers who lack prescription drug coverage. He supports a similar law at the national level as a way to prevent drug companies from filing similar lawsuits like the one that has held up Maine’s good law.

Mike will push for a Medicare prescription drug benefit because many seniors no longer can afford the cost of prescription drugs.

He will protect the Social Security Trust Fund. He has pledged to work to repeal the unfair Social Security offsets that are penalizing tens of thousands of retirees. He adamantly opposes privatizing Social Security.

We need Mike’s leadership in Congress on these important issues. Let’s all vote for Mike on Nov. 5.
