Waldo-Hancock drain

Every time I read about the Waldo-Hancock Bridge, I wonder why all this money is being spent to repair it when common sense tells us they need a new one.

That bridge is more than 70 years old and out of date. They keep finding out it’s in worse shape than they first thought. We have a lot of traffic going across that bridge. Big trucks have to use it when they come from Route 3 and Route 1. It’s the main bridge to this area.

I’d like to see a new one built, wide enough so you could drive across it without being scared. I’d just as soon pay a toll, if needed. Otherwise, all the money spent on repairs will go down the drain.
