Northeast Harbor disabled sailor Tom Brown has qualified for the 2004 Paralympic Summer Games in the 2.4 Metre division.

Brown finished with the bronze medal in that division at the World Disabled Sailing Championships recently in The Netherlands. Brown placed second in the final two races of the nine-race series to qualify.

Brown’s medal is the third he has earned in the last three years at the championships.

The 12 Paralympic Summer are scheduled to be held in Athens, Greece, Sept. 17-28, 2004.
