Bowdoin men’s cross country coach Peter Slovenski has been named the New England Small College Athletic Conference coach of the year for the third consecutive year.

Slovenski’s Polar Bears of Brunswick won their second straight conference title.

Bowdoin’s Patrick Vardaro and Bates College of Lewiston’s Justin Easter were named to the all-conference first team, while Bowdoin’s Jeffrey Rubens, Scott Barbuto, and Todd Forsgren were named to the second team.

Bowdoin’s Elizabeth Barney and Ellen Beth received women’s all-conference second team honors.
