The Rev. David James Lucey will be installed as rector of the Parish of St. Mary and St. Jude at 4 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10 at St. Mary’s-by-the-Sea, 20 South Shore Road, Northeast Harbor.

Following the institution, a reception is planned at the Neighborhood House, at the end of Main Street, Northeast Harbor.

Lucey comes to the new ministry from St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Bedford, N.Y., where he served as associate to the rector.

Lucey is married to Katherine Lucey, and they have five children.

He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia; Wake Forest University in North Carolina; and General Theological Seminary in New York.

Before attending seminary, he was an active lay leader at St. Bartholomew’s Church in New York City, and an intern at the Church of Heavenly Rest in New York City.

The Ellsworth and Franklin United Methodist churches have welcomed the Rev. Brenda Leclerc as their new worship leader following the retirement of the Rev. Linda Kimmelman.

Leclerc is a graduate of Iowa State University, Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, and Bangor Theological Seminary.

Leclerc has a husband and two sons.

Before attending seminary, she worked in Iowa, practicing public service law, advising and representing homeless people and people living with chronic mental illness.

The Franklin United Methodist Church is on Route 182. The Ellsworth United Methodist Church is at 21 Hancock St.

Northern Lights Metropolitan Community Church in Augusta announces the reception of an additional minister, the Rev. Richard T. Rossiter.

He has two teenage children who live with their mother in Michigan.

He recently served Holy Covenant Metropolitan Community Church in Brookfield, Ill.

His background includes teaching as well as work in spiritual companioning, conflict management, resourcing local congregations in leadership training and development.

He has consulted with churches and ecclesiastical regions and co-founded a spiritual collective.
