PRESQUE ISLE – A free TAMC Women’s Health Center community lecture titled “Trim Your Traditions: Healthy Eating through the Holidays and How to Avoid Winter Weight Gain” will be presented at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 11, in the McCain Rooms at Gould Memorial Hospital, 140 Academy St., Presque Isle.

The featured speaker will be Peggy Niblett, manager of Nature’s Place at Graves’ Supermarket in Presque Isle. Topics include planning ahead for quick, healthful meals and parties, recognizing impulse eating, reducing stress, and creating new holiday meal traditions. Samples of holiday treats will be offered.
