OLD TOWN – A man found dead in a car along Kirkland Road on Monday night committed suicide by shooting himself, according to police.
Old Town police officials weren’t releasing the name of the man but said a note was found in the vehicle. The man died of a single gunshot wound.
A passer-by discovered the man’s body Monday evening on the side of Kirkland Road, about one mile from Route 43 facing north.
